Hi, I’m the person behind Prime Home Remodels.
I’m based in Georgia, USA, and I’ve been working in residential and apartment painting for years. Most of my experience comes from real job sites—handling everything from full apartment repaints to detailed touch-ups where color matching really matters.
I started this blog because I realized something: a lot of online advice sounds good, but doesn’t actually work in real situations. I’ve seen homeowners struggle with issues like paint not matching, outlets suddenly not working, or smart thermostats not behaving correctly—things I deal with regularly on the job.
Here, I share what actually works in the field.
Most of what you’ll find on this site comes from real experience, not theory. Whether it’s using an airless sprayer for a consistent finish, matching paint without knowing the original color, or troubleshooting electrical issues in older apartments, I try to explain things in a practical way that anyone can follow.
What I Focus On
– Interior & exterior painting (especially apartment work)
– Real-world paint matching techniques
– Electrical troubleshooting (outlets, GFCI, thermostats)
– Simple, practical fixes that save time and money
I’m not here to overcomplicate things. My goal is to help you avoid common mistakes and get results that actually look professional.
If you’ve ever tried a DIY project and felt like something was slightly off, you’re not alone. I’ve seen it many times—and in most cases, the fix is simpler than you think.
Thanks for being here.
